Chain restaurant in the KoP mall. Parking on the upper deck is convenient. Decent beer and cocktail selections. Menu promises some kind of Mexico City experience but seemed like your typical take on Americanized Mexican food. Service was decent though slow at times even though the restaurant was only half full.
Great mexican place with a nice ambience. The food was excellent and the service was good too. Our server Miguel was friendly and very attentive. If you like hot sauce, don’t miss asking for it as a dipping side. It’s flavourful and has the right amount of spice! I even took a box home lol.
Food is mediocre and way over priced....looked and tasted like processed chicken....Chipotle has better Mexico food.
So far I've had the beef and chicken enchiladas and also their tacos. I must be ordering the wrong thing because they are completely FLAVORLESS. No spice whatsoever. The service is usually very good and I love the atmosphere, but there was one instance where the worker brought our food and completely dropped my plate on the floor. The manager was apologetic but at the same time you could tell she didn't care in the least what had happened. The best thing about this place is definitely the chips and salsa. Overall: meh. Plaza Azteca down the road is much better!
The head chef Brian Harmon is magnificent in the kitchen and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend the Carnitas. The pork shanks are cooked to perfection. The apple pie with cinnamon ice cream was phenomenal!
